The cycloidal pin-wheel reducer, also known as cycloidal gearbox or cyclo drive, is a high-precision, high-rigidity planetary speed reduction device with a unique cycloid-pin gear meshing structure. Different from traditional gear reducers, it adopts eccentric planetary transmission principle, featuring multi-tooth simultaneous meshing during operation. The reducer mainly consists of three core components: eccentric input shaft, cycloidal gear disc and fixed pin-wheel housing. During operation, the eccentric shaft drives the cycloidal disc to perform planetary eccentric motion, and the cycloidal teeth mesh with the fixed pin teeth on the pin-wheel to realize speed reduction. Finally, the low-speed and high-torque power is output through the pin shaft output mechanism.
The core structural advantage lies in multi-tooth simultaneous meshing. More than 60% of the gear teeth participate in meshing transmission at the same time, which avoids the problem of single-tooth stress concentration of ordinary gear reducers. The integral high-strength housing and precision bearing matching further optimize the structural stability, effectively preventing tooth breakage, deformation and mechanical failure under heavy load and impact conditions.
High Load Capacity & Strong Shock Resistance: Multi-tooth meshing structure realizes uniform load distribution, with excellent impact resistance and overload resistance. It can stably cope with frequent start-stop, sudden load changes and heavy-duty impact working conditions, not easy to damage parts.
Large Reduction Ratio & High Transmission Efficiency: The single-stage reduction ratio ranges from 9 to 87, and the two-stage reduction ratio can reach up to 7569. The transmission efficiency of single-stage reducer is up to 95%, with low power loss and energy-saving operation.
Compact Size & Light Weight: The planetary transmission structure greatly reduces the overall volume and weight compared with helical gear reducers with the same torque. It saves installation space and is suitable for equipment with limited assembly space.
